I am currently training for the valencia half marathon. The Valencia half marathon is one of the most popular and fastest half marathon in Spain. I will be there on October 27, giving my best. If you are around then do come by and cheer for me, trust me every voice in your name helps 🙂

 

 

 

I took part in the Mannheim half marathon on 11th of May 2019. As you can see it was still cold and it was windy. But all the training I put in through the cold and wet conditions during the German winters helped. I got a personal best time of 1h 52 mins and 23 secs. It was also my first half marathon. I had set a goal for myself 2 years ago to do a half marathon by 2019, and I achieved it. It was a satisfying feeling, and I am especially thankful to my trainer Jude Murray (https://www.judefitcoach.com/)







I ran the “Cursa contra el Cancer” in November 2018, which apparently turned out to be my best 10K run so far. I achieved a personal best timing of 45mins 23 secs. Summer running and training definitely enhances the winter running performance. Apart from this 10K, I took part in nearly 7-8 other road and trail running events which were 10K or more in distance. 




 

An avid football lover, and a die-hard Arsenal FC fan, I never played football before I moved to Barcelona. However, here I discovered my love for goalkeeping and being in the defense doing the hard job. In my brief spell as an amateur player I have had the opportunity to be a team captain for a couple of teams in amateur leagues held in Barcelona. These experiences have helped me understand concepts of team spirit, team management and the importance of leading from the front.
